We are at the beginning of the summer of 2020 and for me and for many people my age, this year coincides with a very special anniversary. In fact, going a little back in time, exactly 30 years ago, in 1990, for us there was a very particular and significant episode of our adolescence, the secondary school graduation exam.
In that circumstance I wrote some pieces of music to summarize 5 years of life shared with schoolmates, an album called “Maturità“.
Memories of trips in Italy and abroad, far from home and without our families. A journey of experiences and memories gathered in this album to be shared with family and friends. At the time, there were no CDs, or at least they were not part of my artistic production media: there were the audio cassettes and I remember how passionately I prepared the cover, in black and white, printed with the computer, in a completely handmade way.
After 30 years I still remember those emotions, and I’m glad to share this musical journey with you (about 60 minutes of music). Obviously my music from 30 years ago expresses what I was at that time, and emotions that anyways I still recognize now.
I can relive certain moments, listening to those songs, looking back at myself, still a teenager with a lot of dreams to achieve.
